KABUL (SW) – The Islamic Emirate has rejected the US Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction report on the threats of the Daesh militants in Afghanistan.
In a latest report, SIGAR claimed the Islamic Emirate’s governance is facing serious security vulnerabilities in Afghanistan. In this report, SIGAR called groups such as the “National Resistance Front of Afghanistan”, Daesh and al-Qaeda as a threat to the Islamic Emirate and emphasized that the threats of terror originating from Afghanistan also affect the countries of the region.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, however, in a statement, reacted strong to this cigarette report and called it propaganda. The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate has claimed in this announcement that the US may seek instability in the region by spreading such reports.
He said: “It may be the arbitrary actions of certain groups in the United States or that the United States wants to make the region unstable, insecure, and restless in order to take revenge for its failure on the people of Afghanistan.”
After the return of the Islamic Emirate to power, the Khorasan branch of the Daesh group has had serious anti-security activities in Afghanistan, and in the latest case, it has organized and carried out high profile deadly attacks in Badakhshan province .
A number of military experts believe that Daesh can become a serious threat to Afghanistan’s security in the future, and for this reason, the government of the Islamic Emirate should be serious in its approach to combating it.
Asadullah Nadim, an expert on military issues, said: “If the Islamic Emirate forms an all-inclusive and legitimate government and improves its foreign relations, it can deal with the challenge of Daesh. With this situation, the weapons and equipment that the Islamic Emirate has become obsolete over time, and without permission, it cannot maintain or buy military equipment to deal with terrorist threats.”
However, Yusuf Amin Zazi, an expert on military and political issues, said foreigners and countries in the region have played a role in creating terrorism in Afghanistan. “Therefore, the issue of terrorism is vague and its creator is not only in Afghanistan, but it is not known in the Middle East.
