KAPISA (SW) – Officials at the Kapisa police command say that seven people were killed and 10 were injured in a traffic incident in Al-Hsai district of this province.
Abdul Fattah Fayez, the spokesman of the Kapisa security command, told Salam Watandar that at around 07:00 a car fell from the street in Chaikhel village in Al-Sai district of this province. Seven people were killed and 10 people were injured, he said.
Mr. Fayez stated that most of the victims of this incident are farmers who asked the driver to take them near their fields.
Asadullah Saqib, the district governor, while confirming this incident, told Salam Watandar that children were among the dead and also women and children were among the wounded. According to him, the condition of some of the injured in this incident is reported to be critical.
The spokesperson of the Kapisa security command aattributed the cause of this incident to the carelessness of the driver and the narrowness of the street.
