JALALABAD (SW) – Local officials in Nangarhar say that the terminal of the civil airport of this province officially went operational on Sunday.
The deputy governor of Nangarhar Maulvi Mohammad Rabbani Naseh said in the opening ceremony of the terminal that the civil airport terminal of this province, which is equipped with all the necessary equipment and services, was officially opened for domestic flights.
He expressed confidence in the improvement of the affairs of the civil airport, provision of land for civil flights and cooperation in other areas and made recommendations to the officials of the airport in several areas.
The commander of Nangarhar airport, Rahmatullah Shuja, told the ceremony that the civil airport has been activated and aid agencies had hundreds of successful flights to and from here.
