QALA-E-NAU (SW) – Security officials in Badghis confirm that as a result of a “Land Cruiser” type car overturning on the Herat-Faryab highway, five people, including children, died and nine others were injured.
Sediqullah Seddiqi, the spokesman of the Badghis security command, told Salam Watandar that this incident happened on Tuesday night in “Band Mangan” area of Balamorghab district.
Mr. Sediqi added that when the “Land Cruiser” car was moving from Herat to Faryab, it deviated from the road. According to the spokesman of the Badghis security command, the injured were taken to the health center of Balamurghab district by the forces of the Islamic Emirate.
The spokesperson of the Badghis aecurity command stated that the cause of this incident is the carelessness of the driver and the faulty road.
It should be mentioned that as a result of traffic incidents during the days of Eid al-Fitr in a number of provinces, a number of citizens were killed and injured.
