MAZAR-E-SHARIF (SW) – Security officials of Balkh report that seven members of a family were killed in this province.
Mohammad Asif Waziri, the spokesman of the Balkh Police Command, has said that this incident took place on Friday night in the village of “Jar Qala” in the Chamtal district of this province.
The spokesperson of the Balkh Security Command added that in this incident, seven members of a family, including women and children, were mysteriously shot dead in their home.
According to Mohammad Asif Waziri, the cause and motive of this event is still not clear, but the security forces have gone to the area to follow up on this incident.
It should be mentioned that the officials of the Ministry of Interior have recently said that during the last one year, 1591 murders have occurred across the country.
According to the officials of this ministry, more than 1,800 people have been arrested in connection with these murders, and after reviewing their cases, they have been handed over to judicial institutions.
