Analysts call for safety of civilians in security operations

KABUL (SW) – Analysts believe that the security forces should make it absolutely sure that no civilians are harmed in their operations.

After yesterday’s armed clash in Kabul’s Karta Sakhi area, the area is still cordoned off by the security forces and no one, including journalists, is allowed to approach the scene of the incident.

Viral videos taken from yesterday’s clash, which are circulating on social media, show a soldier of the Islamic Emirate using a plastic container full of explosives to blow up the building where they believe the militants are hiding.

This video has raised the concerns of a number of analysts of military affairs. They say that the security forces should not use such tactics that cause people to worry.

According to military expert Asadullah Nadeem, the security forces should use modern tactics and not do anything that threatens the lives of ordinary people.

On the other hand, Sarwari Niazi, another expert on military affairs, says that the presence of Daesh militants in Kabul and the long duration of the clash indicate the weak management of the intelligence and security institutions of the Islamic Emirate.

We tried to have a closer look at the clash site, but the forces of the Islamic Emirate did not allow us to enter the clash area.

A number of residential houses were also damaged in yesterday’s armed clash in Karta Sakhi area of Kabul.

The pictures received by Salam Watandar show that a house in the conflict area has been completely destroyed.

Residents of the area told Salam Watandar that during the clash, the security forces used explosives, which damaged many houses in the clash area.

The caretaker government of the Islamic Emirate confirmed that 6 people were killed and 4 injured in this incident. The Kabul Police Command said that two soldiers of the Islamic Emirate, including a female police officer, were killed and another was injured in yesterday’s armed clash.
