KABUL (SW) – A senior religious figure has been shot dead in Kabul by unknown gunmen.
Sources in Kabul told the media that unknown gunmen killed Sardar Wali Saqib, a leader of the Salafist clerics.
Sources have added that Sardar Wali Saqib, the leader of Salafi scholars and the head of Naranj Bagh Seminary in Jalalabad city, was killed by unknown armed men in the city on Wednesday.
So far, the exact location of the assassination of Sardar Wali Saqib is not clear. The officials of the Islamic Emirate have not yet said anything about this.
So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the assassination.
