KABUL (SW) – The Islamic Emirate needs to interact positively with the international community in a bid to earn recognition, said analysts.

They call the Islamic Emirate failed in interacting with the world for more than 11 months and warn that if this trend continues, the economic and political situation of the people will worsen.

Khalil Ahmad Nadem, experts on political issues, says that the Islamic Emirate has not been able to make achievements in the economic and good governance sectors in the last 11 months. According to him, the international community’s humanitarian aid to Afghanistan depends on the interaction of the Islamic Emirate, and if this interaction is not satisfactory, the international community will refuse to help Afghanistan.

“Afghanistan needs to interact with the world and must accept the demands of the international community. For example, girls’ education, right to work for women, human rights and citizenship rights for Afghan nationals”.

On the other hand, a number of other political experts say that the Islamic Emirate has failed to interact with the international community in the last 11 months and has not achieved anything.

According to experts, the disobedience of the leaders of the Islamic Emirate to international laws and conventions and the wishes of the people and the international community has caused Afghanistan to be isolated.

Aziz Meraj, expert on political issues, said that during the 11 months that the Islamic Emirate has ruled Afghanistan, it has completely failed in foreign policy and interaction with international countries and has not achieved anything. “If they had achieved something, the world would have recognized them by now.”

Salim Paigir, another political expert, also said the international community does not have any big requests. “As soon as they say that girls’ schools should be opened, they should be opened.”

Meanwhile, Sayed Javad Hosseini, the leader of Afghanistan’s Justice and Development Party, warned of the negative consequences of the Islamic Emirate’s lack of interaction with the world.

He said that the Islamic Emirate does not have a constructive policy for the people of Afghanistan. He added that human rights, women’s rights, women’s education and inclusive governance are actually the main demands of the people that the Islamic Emirate must comply with.

Thiscomes as the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has demanded the reopening of all girls’ schools and said that if the girls’ schools are not opened, the aid of the international community to Afghanistan will be cut off.
