Islamic Emirate delegation leaves for Tashkent

KABUL (SW) – The Islamic Emirate delegation has left for Tashkent to attend the forthcoming international conference on Afghanistan in the Uzbekistan capital.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Amir Khan Mutakki, acting head of the Ministry, has left for Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan as the head of a delegation to participate in the international conference on Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that a delegation from the Islamic Emirate will participate in this meeting at the invitation of Uzbekistan. The international meeting of Uzbekistan under the title “Security, economic growth and regional connectivity of Afghanistan” is scheduled to begin on Monday.

According to reports, representatives of more than 20 countries and international organizations will attend this meeting.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the purpose of the meeting is to take measures and proposals for the approaches of the international community and promote stability, security and reconstruction after the war in Afghanistan.
