Floods claim the lives of 10 Islamic Emirate forces

GHAZNI (SW) – The local officials of Ghazni confirm that due to floods in the Qarbagh district of the province, a ranger vehicle of the Islamic Emirate forces was overturned, as a result of which 10 soldiers lost their lives and 3 others were injured.

Maulvi Omar Haqqani, head of Ghazni’s natural disaster control, told Salam Watandar that last night, a ranger vehicle of the Islamic Emirate was swept away by floods after heavy rains in the Qarabagh district of the province.

He said, as a result of this incident, 10 soldiers of the Islamic Emirate lost their lives and 3 others were injured.

The Director of Natural Disasters of Ghazni added that there are floods in other districts and regions of this province, and the survey of the affected areas is ongoing.

It is worth noting that for the past few days, rains and floods have killed and injured dozens of people in many other provinces of the country and caused heavy financial losses to thousands of others.
