GHAZNI (SW) – A top Islamic Emirate official has said efforts are underway to establish a discipline, strong and capable national army.
Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, the Acting Minister of National Defense, met with the local officials of Ghazni and army soldiers during a trip to the province on Thursday.
A source in Ghazni’s Department of Information and Culture told Salaam Watandar that 30 people graduated from the “Kandak Topchi” section of the Islamic Emirate Army in this province, and the purpose of the visit of the Acting Ministry of National Defense was to honor the graduates.
The source added that during his short speech, the Acting Minister of Defense, while appreciating the efforts of the Islamic Emirate’s military, emphasized that the Islamic Emirate is trying to create an orderly, strong and unmatched army in the region.
On the other hand, the source says that the private media in Ghazni was not invited to Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid’s speech gathering.
