PUL-I-ALAM (SW) – Unknown gunmen have shot dead a civilian in Logar province, confirmed officials on Thursday.
A number of residents of Charkh district of Logar province say that unidentified gunmen shot dead a person named Seyed Rahman Tawhidi last night.
Akhtar Mohammad, a resident of Charkh district, told Salam Watandar that the incident took place in Debar village of the district. He added that the victim had no personal enmity with anyone.
Meanwhile, Ahmadullah Anas, spokesman for the Logar Police Command, confirmed the incident and told Salam Watandar that security forces were trying to arrest the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
Such incidents of criminal offenses have recently increased in the provincial capiital and a number of Logar districts.
