KABUL (SW) – Pakistan has pledged to uplift lift the status of Mohammad Ali Jinnah Hospital in Kabul to a teaching facility for the students of medicine.
Qalandar Ebad, acting head of the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate inked an agreement with the Pakistani officials at their embassy in Kabul.
Pakistani Ambassador to Kabul Mansour Ahmad Khan wrote on Twitter today (Tuesday, June 14) that the memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Public Health and a team from Lahore University in Kabul.
He added that under the memorandum, Pakistan will assist MAJH in Kabul and upgrade its facilities to become a teaching hospital.
The hospital was built with Pakistani funding and was inaugurated about three years ago.
