MONITORING (SW) – Analysts believe it is pivotal for the Islamic Emirate to earn international recognition in a bid to defend the country’s interests at various forums.
According to reports, a meeting of national security advisers from Russia, India and the Central Asian countries will be held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. The meeting is scheduled to discuss the political, humanitarian and security situation in Afghanistan.
As the meeting began, Bilal Karimi, the deputy spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, told Salam Watandar that countries should not worry about Afghanistan. He also called for Afghanistan’s support in all international meetings.
Karimi called the situation in Afghanistan stable and added that the Islamic Emirate wants good interaction with the world and that Afghanistan will not be used against any country. He also called on the international community to establish formal relations with the Islamic Emirate so that their concerns can be addressed formally.
However, experts say many countries are holding similar meetings because of concerns about Afghanistan. Although experts see the holding of such meetings on Afghanistan as a sign of concern for some countries; However, they say that due to the absence of the representative of the Islamic Emirate, these meetings will not have a positive result.
International affairs expert Javed Momand says the Islamic Emirate needs to seek foreign legitimacy to be represented at international meetings and to be able to address concerns about Afghanistan. Momand added that due to the recent meetings that have been held on Afghanistan in different countries, many countries are holding such meetings due to their internal competitions.
Meanwhile, Gul Mohammad Gulzay, a political analyst, believes that the Islamic Emirate must interact with the world and respond to world concerns so that the government can be recognized and invited to a similar meeting.
He added that such meetings should not take place without the participation of the representative of the Islamic Emirate.
It should be noted that even before the meeting on Monday, many other countries had held meetings without the presence of representatives of the Islamic Emirate.
