Akhundzada hails establishment of ‘Islamic system, peace’ in the country

KABUL (SW) – In his Eid Day message, the supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate hailed the establishment of ‘Islamic system and peace’ in the country.

Hebatullah Akhundzada, the supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate, offered Eid al-Fitr prayers at the Eidgah Mosque in Kandahar. Before praying, he issued a statement hailing the establishing ‘an Islamic system, security and freedom’ of the country.

In an audiotape broadcast by the leader of the Islamic Emirate, he called for the “endurance” of the nation. “We ask Allah to protect the whole nation. May Allah give everyone perseverance for Islamic brotherhood and Jihadist resistance.”

The supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate also called for the establishment of security and the permanence of the Islamic system in the country and sought success from the officials of the Islamic Emirate to ensure justice, mercy and compassion for the people.

In his message, he asked Allah to protect the officials of the Islamic Emirate for “truth and religion” and not to frustrate them. He also called for the people to be saved from internal strife.

Afghanistan marked Eid on Sunday, a day ahead of many Muslim countries.

The country saw a deadly string of terrorist attacks on mosques and other religious places in the holy month of Ramadan ahead o the Eid.
