Sayed Agha, another resident of Kabul, said that nighttime shootings, killings and robberies had increased in the 11th and 15th districts, and that people could not leave their homes after 5 p.m.
Bu, Saeed Khosti, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Emirate, denies the increase in crime in Kabul, saying the crime rate has dropped.
