KUNDUZ (SW) – Many worshippers got killed and injured in Kunduz following a heavy blast inside a mosque during Friday prayers.
Witnesses to the incident told Salam Watandar that the explosion took place at around 1:30 pm today during Friday prayers inside the Seyedabad Grand Mosque.
According to them, about 46 worshipers were killed and more than 150 others were injured in the blast.

On the other hand, Matiullah Rouhani, the head for information and culture of the Islamic Emirate in Kunduz, confirmed the explosion and said that many civilians were killed in the incident.
On the other hand, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, also confirmed the explosion. In a statement, he said that many compatriots were martyred and wounded in this incident.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
