KABUL (SW) – President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said on Thursday that he would never give in to plans of destruction of Afghanistan chalked outside the country.
He made these remarks marking the National Day of Flag at a ceremony at the presidential palace. Addressing the Taliban, he said: “Is the plan to destroy the country your own or by outsiders? Whose’ networks are these that want to destroy Afghanistan?”
The President further said that the countries of the region are the main partners of Afghanistan’s stability and prosperity and that an unstable Afghanistan will affect everyone. Ghani once again called for a political solution and reiterated that the government cannot be forced to surrender by force.
