TALUQAN (SW) – The head of Takhar Uleme Council got killed in following a magnetic bomb blast, an official confirmed.
Khalil Aseer, spokesman for the provincial police command has confirmed the killing of Abdul Samad Mohammadi to a magnetic bomb attached to his car.
Health authorities in Takhar said three people riding the car with the head of Ulema council got injured in this attack.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Separately, a bomb blast in Balkh province claimed the lives of two civilians and left 16 others wounded. The provincial administration said the blast took place in the Balkh district. Among the dead included a child and among the injured were three soldiers.
