Four government employees shot dead in Kabul

KABUL (SW) – Four employees of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development were gun downed in Kabul on Tuesday, officials confirmed.

Kabul police spokesman Firdaus Faramarz said the incident took place at around 09:20 a.m. in the Bagh-e-Dawood area of the city. Those killed in the shooting included Mohammad Habib, Fareedullah, Riyaz Ahmad and Baryalay. He added investigation into the shooting has begun.

Sources told Salam Watandar two of the above lost their lives on spot and the other two succumbed to their wounds on the way to hospital.

There has been no claim of responsibility for the attack.
