KABUL (SW) – Vice President Amrullah Saleh revealed on Tuesday investigations suggest up to 90 per cent motorcycles with pillion riders are involved in terrorist activities in Kabul.

In a latest of his hallmark facebook posts about security situation in Kabul, Saleh said a public servant was killed by pillion riders a day earlier in the 7th police district. He further said a prosecutor faced same fate in an identical terrorist attack by pillion riders in Kabul on Sunday.

The VP added from now on, pillion riders with no documents for their motorcycles would be seen as suspected terrorists.

Two months earlier, Saleh issued directives to ban entry in Kabul for all vehicles lacking proper documentation.
