President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left Kabul for Kuwait and Qatar on Monday. A member of the Taliban delegation in Qatar, Abdul Haq Waseeq told Salam Watandar the group has no meeting scheduled with the Afghan president.

Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman High Council for National Reconciliation, has said Kabul and Islamabad shall work together for peace and stability.

A number of analysts believe both the Afghan government and the Taliban insurgents are dragging their feet with the peace parley for their wasted interests.
