Islamic Emirate, Pakistan officials discuss future trade policy

KABUL (SW) – The Pakistan-Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PAJCCI) stated that during the visit of the Pakistani delegation to Kabul, discussions would be held with the Islamic Emirate officials on the future trade policy of the two countries and resolving trade issues.

Exclusive: 17 new restrictions imposed on women in Afghanistan in one year

KABUL (SW) – Findings by Salam Watandar indicate that during the year (solar year) 1402 (21 March 2023 to 20 March 2024) at least 17 sorts of new restrictions were imposed on women in Afghanistan on top of the 49 earlier restrictions imposed in the previous two years under the de-facto government of the Islamic Emirate.

Islamic Emirate seeks to attend SCO meeting as an observer

KABUL (SW) – Mohammad Abdul Kabir, Acting Deputy Prim Minister for Political Affairs at the cabinet of the Islamic Emirate, said in a meeting with Zhao Xing, the Chinese Ambassador in Kabul, that the Islamic Emirate wants to be invited as an observer member in the upcoming meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Muttaqi invites Pakistan’s new FM to visit Kabul 

KABUL (SW) – Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, has invited Pakistan’s newly elected foreign minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar to visit Kabul in a bid to improve bilateral relations.
