Regular rainfall in Badakhshan; renews hope for better harvests
A number of farmers in Badakhshan say that this year’s rainfall has been more regular than in previous years, having a positive impact on their farmland. They say most of the province’s agricultural land is rainfed and that insufficient rainfall in recent years has led to reduced crop yields.
