PUL-I-KHUMRI (SW): The Taliban militants in northern Baghlan province have executed a man and a boy on charges of “bacha bazi” (pederasty).
Locals have told Salam Watandar that this incident took place in the provincial capital last night. Mohammad Naseeb, a local elder said that a man called Hakeem, a known pederast, was caught by the militants with a young boy at his resident late in the night. Both were later shot dead in front of their family members on the spot.
Naseeb added that the deceased man himself was commander of a local armed militia, and had deployed three guards to look after the look after the boy he was having sexual relations with.
Meanwhile, Amir Gul, the security chief at the provincial police directorate, has said in this regard that the deceased man had no ties with the government or the security forces.
The Taliban have warned the locals not to attend the death ceremony of the man they killed over charges of pederasty.
