SAMANGAN (SW) – The provincial security chief for Samangan along with dozens of policemen got killed in the Taliban’s attacks, an official said on Tuesday.
Mohammad Hashim Sarwari, deputy chairman for the provincial council, informed Salam Watandar the incident took place in the Dara-e-Safoof district last night. He added dozens of policemen are missing after the incident.
In the meantime, a credible security source claimed that up to 30 security forces are killed in this raid by the rebels who also torched five vehicles of the police. According to the source, the provincial director for NDS is also missing following the assault.
