CHARIKAAR (SW) – At least 7 security forces got killed in a Taliban attack in Parwan province.
Waheeda Shahkar, spokesperson for the governor, said the incident took place in the Seya Gard district of the province. She claimed a number of Taliban fighters were also killed and wounded in this assault.
A security source claimed the insurgents torched security forces' check post in this assault.
This comes on the heels of a rare three-day truce during Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
