KABUL (SW) – A Taliban-claimed suicide car bombing killed at least four soldiers in the Reshkhor area of Kabul on Thursday.
The defense ministry said in a statement a mini-bus packed with explosives was detonated close to the entrance of the headquarters of the commando forces. It confirmed four soldiers got killed and three others got wounded in this attack.
There were also reports of exchange of fire between the attackers and the security forces.
The Taliban have took responsibility for the attack. The group’s spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahed, claimed in a social media post that an infiltrator staged this suicide bombing “killing and wounding 200 commando forces”.
