FARAH CITY (SW) – At least 50 members of the Afghan Border Police (ABP) got killed in the Taliban’s assault on Pusht Koh district in Farah province, a security source informed.
Meanwhile, Dadullah, a member of the Farah provincial council, has clarified 20 ABP men got killed in the Taliban’s assault on check posts. He said the Taliban also took away a number of policemen with them.
According to the locals, the Taliban also took away arms, ammunition and other resources from the ABP check posts.
Muhibullah Muhib, spokesman for the police headquarters, has confirmed the incident, but did not comment on the number of casualties.
