KABUL (SW): Organizer of the sit-in protest camp in Kabul have claimed two demonstrators have died in clashes with the police as the security forces dismantled the camp in the main Zanbaq Square in the wee hours on Tuesday.
Organizers of the agitation camp that were set-up last month against a string of terrorist attacks, and the government’s subsequent failure in preventing these attacks, told Salam Watandar the security forces dismantled the camp at the main Zanbaq Square. They added clashes erupted between the police and the protesters that led to the death of at least two protesters, and eight others got wounded.
At least 12 protesters have been taken into custody by the law enforcement agencies, the demonstrators told Salam Watandar.
