
KUNDUZ CITY (SW): A group of armed men have killed four brothers who declined to pay imposed tax on their agriculture yield in Kunduz province.
Abdul Zaher, police chief for the Khan Abad district, told Salam Watandar this incident took place in the Arab Qudoq area of the district. He added the armed clash erupted between the militants and farmers on Monday that left four brothers killed and one injured while two attackers also got wounded.
The police chief claimed the armed assailants are associated with a criminal named Matenak who is on the run. He claimed the group is wanted in a number of other crimes as well. Zaher noted there are up to 1700 criminals engaged in various crimes in the district.
