KABUL (SW): Herbert Raymond McMaster, the U.S. National Security Advisor is on his maiden visit to Afghanistan.
Tawab Ghorzang, spokesman for the National Security Council, said McMaster talked with his Afghan counterpart, Mohammad Hanif Atmar, on strengthening Kabul-Washington ties, and for peace and stability. Later in the day, McMast called upon President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah.
Gen. Murad Ali Murad, deputy chief of the army staff, told a presser on Sunday here that the U.S. delegation will provide President Donald Trump the true picture of Afghanistan. “Based on the agreement, both sides should honor their promises, the Afghan National Army (ANA) should be better equipped than before”, added Murad.
