KABUL (SW): Saturday’s brazen terrorist attack in Kabul claimed many lives and left many more wounded, but a number of people are still missing while some victims could not be identified so far.
A number of traumatized families are eagerly in search for any traces of their loved ones in the public hospitals treating the overwhelming number of victims in the capital city.
Jameela Momand is one of them. She was desperately searching for her missing brother at the 400-Bed Sardar Mohammd Dawood Khan Hospital in the city. She informed Salam Watandar there are no signs of her brother. “He was not there among the dead or the wounded”.
Saleem from the Panjshir province was another distressed relative seeking to find out about his brother who went missing since Saturday afternoon. Saleem informed he has searched all public hospitals, but there are no signs of his missing brother.
Among these tragic citizens was Waheed from Bamyan province. His brother used to sell stuff on the street in the Chicken Street of antiques and gemstones. He desperately wants the government to provide him some signs of his missing brother dead or alive so that he can console family members back home.
At the 400-Bed Sardar Mohammd Dawood Khan Hospital, four dead bodies are not identified yet.
The attack claimed by the Taliban killed more than 100 people and left close to 240 people wounded
