BAMIYAN (SW): In the third round of the Marathon run in Bayiyan, 350 runners from around the world participated in the international Marathon.
The goal of this game was to convey peace and acceptance of each other. This competition was held today (Friday) by Afghanistan Marathon Sports Foundation and James Willcox, in which players run at a distance of 42 kilometers on Kabul-Yakawlang highway to compete for the Marathon.
James said that Bamiyan is a suitable place for this kind of sport.
In the 42 kilometer run for this game, Mohammad Karim from Paktia province came first, and in the second part of this game in 10 kilometer run, Zahra Rezayee got the first position.
The runners involved in this competition asked the authorities to keep this game alive and said that every runner is a bearer of a peace message.
Last year, the marathon started in Bamiyan province.
