The misery and poverty to the advancement of women in “My Country, From My View”

KABUL (SW): The winners of the national photography competition, "My country, From My View," were announced here in Kabul on Wednesday.

Judges on the occasion of announcing the winners of the competition said photographers from around the country sent more than 400 photos to the competition, including 17 best-rated photos that won the top prize.

Massoud Hosseini, a judge at the competition, calling such competitions important for the growth of photography, said that the competition highlights poverty, misery, economic growth, and education, and health, and women's advancement. He added that the photography knowledge is on the rise in the country.

Javid Omid, who won the first place in the competition, his photography theme portrayed the progress of women. In this photo, a number of young girls are seen on the bikes in Bamiyan province. He said that in the past, photographs of the blast and suicide have always been published in Afghanistan, but the subject of the photos has now changed.

The national photography competition was launched in April by sustainable development goals of the United Nations and the Ministry of Economy.

Officials of the national photography competition said that the program will continue in the country until 2030 as part of the sustainable development program, and all citizens can take part in the competition by sending photographs and win the prize.
