SHEBERGHAN (SW) – The Taliban rebels have killed a minor boy in Jawzjan province, an official told Salam Watandar on Wednesday.
A security source told SW the rebels killed the 8-year-old boy named Mohammad Haroon on the charge of providing food and water to the security forces in the Qosh Tapa district. The source said the body of this boy was found from a deserted place, and handed over to the family of the boy.
Faredon Aniq, spokesman for the provincial governor, has confirmed the incident. He said the rebels killed the minor boy in Khanqa area of the district, and fled.
Meanwhile, the Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahed, has rejected involvement in this incident. Promising investigations, he said the Taliban are never engaged in such activities.
