GHAZNI (SW) – In the Taliban's late-night raids on check posts in Ghazni province, at least 9 policemen got killed, an official statement confirmed on Friday.
The statement noted that the Taliban attacked check posts in the city’s outskirts at around midnight on Thursday. It added director of the PD 3 in Ghazni, Mujeebur Rehman, also got killed in these attacks.
No details have been shared about the losses sustained by the Taliban in these attacks.
The Taliban claimed to have overrun these check posts after killing 16 policemen.
