FARAH CITY (SW) – The Taliban have killed a government employee and taken away ten more with them in Farah province, an official informed on Saturday.
Shah Mehmood Naimi, deputy chairman for the provincial council, told Salam Watandar the rebels killed the government employee in the Darabad area. He added among rest of the ten abducted by the Taliban include government employees and local elders.
Naimi added nothing is known about the whereabouts of the abductees. It is said the men were abducted from near a police check point not far away from the capital city, Farah city.
We wished to have the views of the police and provincial administration, but to no avail. The Taliban have not commented on this.
