KABUL (SW): At least seven people got killed in a suicide attack in the capital Kabul’s Dasht-e-Barchi neighborhood on Friday.
Nusrat Rahimi, deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI), informed that the attack took place close to a gathering organized to mark the 23rd death anniversary of Abdullah Mazari.
A number of policemen also got killed in the attack, Rahimi informed. He added the attacker wished to enter the main arena where people had gathered for the event, however, when police intercepted him, he detonated his explosives.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
