Student’s tongue slit in a suspected tribal feud

KHOST CITY (SW) – Unknown men have cut the tongue of a young student in Khost province, an official has confirmed.

 According to reports, the 13-year-old boy named Nezamuddin is a seventh grade student. He was busy preparing for ongoing school exams in the Matoon Gulzar Aka area of the capital city, Khost, when the attackers committed the horrific crime.

The boy is unable to speak, and has so far not explained the circumstances via signs or body language.

Abdul Baseer Bena, spokesman for the police headquarters, has confirmed the incident. He informed Salam Watandar efforts are underway to nab the culprits.

The locals, however, claim the boy’s family is facing a tribal feud that previously resulted in his abduction.
