MAZAR-I-SHARIF (SW): An International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) employee was killed by a patient in Balkh province on Monday.
Abdul Razaq Qaderi, the security chief of the provincial police, told Salam Watandar that the victim was a Spanish woman working at the ICRC Balkh. According to him, the 21-year-old disabled patient was getting treatment since 19 years from ICRC. “The patient along another man entered the working place of the victim and killed her”, informed Qaderi.
He assured that the murders are apprehended and an investigation has been launched into the matter.
Salam Watandar wished to have views from ICRC-Balkh, but to no avail.
