Rocket attacks cause panic in Kabul

KABUL (SW) – Multiple rockets hit different residential areas in the capital Kabul’s 5th and 17th districts, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

Najib Danish, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, informed seven rockets hit 5th district of the city and one other hit the 17th district. He said three people, including two children, got wounded in these attacks by unknown attackers.

However, eyewitness claim up to 7 people got wounded.

The attacks caused panic forcing many in the affected areas to flee from homes. The rocket attacks on the Afshaar areas have also been condemned by the social media users in the country.

There has been no immediate claim of responsibility. Police have initiated probe into the incident.
