KABUL(SW): Relatives and sympathizers of the beheaded passengers have set-up camp in Dasht-e-Barchi area in Kabul asking government for justice.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, at the meeting with the representatives of the protesters, vowed yesterday to avenge the brutal beheading of civilians by the militants.
The President said that it was time for unity and the citizens should not allow the enemy to take advantage of demonstration to weaken the government.
“The nation’s pain is my pain and we will not rest until we punish the perpetrators. The pain today resembles a dagger slitting government of national unity”, He added.
Yesterday Kabul witnessed one of the greatest march of protesters over beheading of seven Hazara passengers in Zabul province.
The protestors carried the coffins of the murdered and took them near Presidential Palace chanting slogans for justice. Similar protest erupted in other cities across the country denouncing terrorism and urging the government to ensure safety of the citizen.
