KABUL (SW): A private company called “Modern Methods” has promised to create up to one million jobs in Afghanistan within 3 years.

The directors of the private company while addressing a press conference on Wednesday here in Kabul said that the ‘Modern Methods Company’ has created an online program which will create these jobs. The program aims to provide advertising and marketing services for businesses and companies.

Ahmad Nasir Matin, the manager of the company, said in first 6 months 15 thousand persons will have jobs which will be expanded to 1 million jobs in the second phase. “The starting salary will be 7 thousand afghanis along with other benefits”, added Matin. According to the information provided at the conference by the officials of the company, the employees will not need to be present in the office at all times. Employees can perform online marketing from their homes and education places for the clients.

Economist Saifudin Saihoon has hailed the initiative. He told Salam Watandar that even if the program fails to provide job security to its employees, it could at least build the capacity of employees and job seekers.
