President Ghani added that the educational curriculum of the universities has been a legacy from the past and the new generation of Afghanistan knows that the current educational curriculum is not student-centered and the contemporary academic environment is not the environment where all the talents get noticed.

The president promised award for the best curriculum innovation for the country.

The President emphasized that the universities of the country should be a center of thinking and solidarity, negative thoughts should not penetrate the universities of Afghanistan, and higher education institutions should become centers for the elimination of the society’s grudges.

“If universities in the country become the center of political competition, young people will lose their historic mission, and that division and political games will be embedded in universities”, warned President Ghani.

Although the country's curriculum has not been able to meet today's needs in higher education institutions and is criticized more often for being outdated, it is now to be seen how practical the government takes action.
