JALALABAD (SW): A new Nitrogen and Oxygen production factory has been inaugurated in eastern Nangarhar province.
Dr. Nasimullah Darman, owner of the factory, said on the occasion this unit would provide job opportunities for hundreds of people, and would ensure hassle-free supply of these important gases for relevant sectors. Darman said he has invested $ 350, 000 in this project. He added up to 250 people would get jobs with this move.
Dr. Mohammad Zafar Hamidi, head of procurement at the Ministry of Public Health, said on the occasion the factory has been developed keeping approved standards in mind. He said the eastern parts of the country would benefit a lot from this pioneering move as their reliance on Kabul for these gases would end.
The two gases are essential for medical, agriculture and industrial purposes.
