New commissioners introduced for Civil Service Commission

KABUL (SW): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has introduced 9 commissioners for the Afghanistan Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission (AARCSC) in a ceremony on Wednesday here in Kabul.

President Ghani insisted said merit-based employment is extremely important for the transparency of the government. He also welcomed the employment of youth in other government offices. “The National Unity Government (NUG) is aiming to leave strong and independent entities as a legacy”, added Ghani.

Nader Naderi, the director of AARCSC, addressing on the occasion said the Commission is aiming to have transparency and bring reforms in the governance.

The director of civil service commission informed that more than 8 thousand vacancies for the Ministry of Education and 5 thousand vacancies in the Independent Election Commission will be soon filled by transparent and impartial recruitment.
