MONITORING (SW) – A dedicated exhibition of top class agriculture products from Afghanistan was held in Mumbai, India under the label of ‘Nature’s Best’.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, officials from Afghanistan, India and the USAID were present at the launching ceremony also attended by the business community members from both the countries.
At this two-day fair, a variety of products would be put on display in some 57 well-decorated stalls in the Indian commercial hub. As per the MAIL, some 800 businessmen have been registered to take part in this exhibition. The Ministry is hopeful to attract business contracts worth some $ 30 million at this exhibition.
In this exhibition, fresh and dried fruits, saffron, herbs, honey and some other Afghan agricultural products are on displayed for the two days.
