KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Information and Culture was blamed on Monday for not cooperating with the Access to Information Monitoring Commission.
Syed Ikram Afzali, chairman of the Access to Information Monitoring Commission, told a presser that the MoIC is not cooperating in this regard. He went on to charge the MoIC has also created impedements in the way of ensuring people have access to information.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Sarwar Danish, first vice president, has claimed the government has taken effective steps in promoting the access to information in the country.
The Access to Information Monitoring Commission was formed three years ago, but members of this commission has blamed the government on a number of occasion for not cooperating.
