KABUL (SW): Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs & Disabled, Faizullah Zaki today at the National Conference on Labor said that 2.2 million jobs will be created in the next three years.
Minister Zaki said that Afghanistan needs to set up its employment strategy as soon as possible.
Minister Zaki called on the authorities to pay more attention to projects and increase the opportunities for women.
At the end of the second day of the conference, President Ghani also called on officials to set a deadline for job creation strategy and consider all aspects of job creation for 2.2 million workers.
Representatives of more than 200 public and private institutions and a number of representatives of the Afghan National Assembly (Wolesi Jirga) attended the conference.
